The quality systems in place include these key activities:

• Quality Bulletin Board
• CMM collection of SPC data
• APQP meetings on all projects

Gauging at the press is limited to use when customer's request it. All part quality verification is done on the CMM machines with variable data collected by the operator with hand tools. First part off is checked fully for dimensional correctness, then it is checked hourly for critical or key dimensions. This system improves quality and reduces cost of gauging to the customer.

Production approval process consists of:

• Control Plans
• Process FMEA
• Process Flow Diagrams
• Dimensional Layouts
• PPK and CPK of 1.67
• Lab Tests
